Summary
The first test magnet, discussed in 2026-10-01 - NbTi Sextupole magnet preliminary specifications, was received on the morning of 2026-10-15. Reception was handled by Carl Watz and Carl Svanberg.
The magnet was lifted out of its crate and visually inspected. No visible damage was found on the magnet itself.
Packaging damage
The wooden crate shows scratches on the bottom edge corner (see pictures below).
